Ready To Book...

Not convinced yet? Well on top of all that's been mentioned so far there are a whole host of attractions within an easy drive of the cottage. Try Alnwick for the castle and gardens, great shops including the UK's second largest secondhand bookshop in the old station, only 9 miles away.

Try a boat trip to The Farne Islands to see puffins, seals and a whole host of other birdlife. Visit Warkworth castle just a mile away, try Holy Island for its castle, tranquil English setting and the fantastic causeway. Have a trip to Bamburgh Castle and its great deserted beaches.

Pop into Alnmouth just up the coast and as you turn the corner to get to the beach be prepared for a sharp intake of breath - the view and the beach are fantastic! The list goes on and on. There really is too much to do in a fortnight never mind a week! With so much to offer you would be mad not to book. Here are just a sample of our guestbook quotes:

"Even the Mother-in-law didn't complain...now that's what I call a cottage!"
Williams Family July 2005
