Lytham is packed with a vast range of cafe's bars and restaurants to suit every taste, and Lytham and the surrounding area has loads of activities to offer.  It would be impossible to list them all here, so we have provided a range of linked pages to give you a flavour.  If you have kids (or even feel young at heart yourself), I recommend looking at the link for the local park - its fantastic and only 1 min walk from the cottage.

Lytham has a lovely sea front and promenade and the cottage is only 5 mins walk from the famous Lytham lighthouse, although if you want sandy beaches, then St Annes (10 minutes by car) has miles of the stuff.
